Includes the operating system and most layered products. A valid
software
product license is required to access and use each software product on the discs. |

addition to the software binaries, the discs also include
the following software product information: Software
Product Descriptions
(SPDs), Installation Guides,
individual product Cover Letters,
and for Tru64 UNIX,
Release Notes. |

SPL Software Updates Service customers receive quarterly
updates on CD-ROM
discs for OpenVMS VAX, OpenVMS Alpha, and/or
Tru64 UNIX. Subscribers can also download products from
this website; and for newly updated products prior to
receiving the hard media. |

SPL Software Updates Service Information
The Software Updates Service provides
customers with a one-year subscription service that
entitles them to receive quarterly releases of the latest
software binaries and online documentation on CD-ROM.
A purchase of the Software Products Library complete kit is recommended for
new customers as the quarterly Software Updates Service may not include all
components.
Customers must be
properly licensed, either through a Support Agreement that provides the
rights to use new versions of software or through the purchase of a
Software Update License
to use any new revisions of software binaries that are included on this
distribution.

Note: OpenVMS Integrity
customers must go through the
HP
IT Resource Center/SUM Software Update Manager for
subscription and downloads of software binaries.
